Live.Awake: The Wiggles Creep Me Out

Ok, that's the Quote of the Day:

"If Stanley Kubrick had put together a boy band, I think the result would’ve been something just like The Wiggles."

    Keep those wry comments coming!

Hey Now! You think the Wiggles are bad, try tuning in on "The Doodlebops"... Now there is one that can get creepy at times. :)

My children watch them all, even that evil purple Teletubbie at times, and sadly enough "Boobah", which I have still yet to figure out if that noise is the passing of gas or not? Between PBS, Disney, & TBN Saturday morning (I loved "Davey & Goliath" as a child, and so do my kids) We hit the whole spectrum of animation.

But I have to plug the whole family's all-time favorite... "Veggie Tales"! We have almost everything there is to have, CD's, DVD's, VHS tapes. And I still to this day can never get enough of them.

"Because a thankful heart is a happy heart!
I'm glad for what I have,
Thats an easy way to start!

For the love that He shares,
'Cause He listens to my prayers,
That's why I say thanks every day!"

My friend's daughters are so scared of the puppet Wiggles, they can't even look at the DVD case that has them on it. I always ask myself, "Why would grown men want to do this?" Anyway, they are millionaires now, aren't they? Hmmm....

Speaking of VeggieTales, One of my favorite commentators, Glenn Beck was talking about liberal propaganda trying to indoctrinate kids (ie: Happy Feet, Fern Gully, Ice Age 2: The Meltdown) He said, "Liberals get all the cool cartoons! And what do conservatives have? Talking, singing vegetables?! Kids HATE vegetables!!" We love VeggieTales, BTW, I just thought it was hilarious.

Don't get me started on Happy Feet. I watched it this weekend. I'll be posting on it soon.

It inspired me to whole new heights of irritation.
