I can remember hearing that story many times, and the house y'all lived in then, although I don't remember the specific occurrence. Haha it made me laugh to read that story!

Re: The Price of Sausage

DED, I can't believe you remember them. That's great! And no...no damage that I can tell! Too funny about Lamb Chops! It is funny that she remembers and makes that connection so many years later! Great story. I love the story about Nemo...it's funny the older they get the more skeptical they get :). Hanlie, Thanks!

Re: The Price of Sausage

After recently watching Finding Nemo,I cooked fish for dinner one night. HipChick asked, "Is this the same kind of fish that you get from the ocean?" I said, "No,no, this is the kind that comes from the store." I don't think she was convinced.

Re: The Price of Sausage

It sounds like an interestig childhood... My family is very traditional, so no funny stories come to mind at this time. But I really enjoyed yours!

Re: The Price of Sausage

Oh my this is funny,I can't remember any thing from my childhood but my kids . I am glad to know you were not traumatized for life once finding out the "pets" were dinner.
